Jan Torrisi-Mokwa is the founder and chief organizational strategist of Congruence, Inc. where she helps leaders increase team capacity to achieve meaningful results, such as profitability, revenue, client growth and talent retention.
Before founding Congruence, Jan was the global leader of Employee Growth & Retention at Arthur Andersen where she worked extensively with international business partners to increase results through people. Prior to her work in a “Big Five” firm, she was director of Curriculum Design at Boeing’s Center for Leadership & Learning.
A published author, Jan has written extensively on organizational strategies for growth, setting and achieving goals, and building team capacity. Released in 2011, her first book, Building Career Equity, shares insights, tips and practical advice on how to advance a career on purpose, instead of by accident.
Jan holds a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and is certified by FranklinCovey as a facilitator. In 2011, she earned certification from the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) in Leadership Assessment. Jan also serves on the boards of DeSmet Jesuit High School, The Humane Society of Missouri and The Private Bank.
Jan has been recognized by the St. Louis Business Journal as one of the region’s “Most Influential Women in Business” and by the YWCA as an “Entrepreneurial Leader of Distinction.”
